Are you feeling tired or depleted?  Not sleeping well?  Have aches or pains that won’t go away?  Is stress taking its toll on you?  Want to be more productive?  Need more balance in your life? Marma energy treatments can help with all of these concerns and more!

Marma are vital energy points located on the surface of the body similar to acupressure points. Marma is a Sanskrit word which means “hidden” or “secret”.  There are 107 marma points on the body which are “doorways” into the mind/body.  Each point allows for entry into the chakras and works on the subtle body, releasing blocked energy and stimulating the flow of prana.  Prana is our vital life force and can easily become depleted. Activating these points gently awakens your body’s own natural self healing and sense of calm.

Marma energy treatments can help with so many areas of the mind/body including aches and pains, stress and anxiety, insomnia, grief and loss, digestive issues, improve organ function and overall balance and relaxation.  The body responds to the mind and the mind responds to the body.  They are not separate.  These treatments synchronize and harmonize the entire system.

Through gentle touch on specific points, the body deeply relaxes, the nervous system is reset, and cellular healing of the body is enhanced by creating balance and harmony in your mind/body.  You remain fully clothed during this treatment.  Focus is on energy centers rather than muscles.  Touch may be done with fingers, a tuning fork which is tuned to the frequency of Ohm or placement of crystals and essential oils may also be used.

Yoga has been used as a tool for physical, emotional and spiritual health for thousands of years.  For women, yoga offers a practical way to cope with a wide range of symptoms without negative side effects.  Yoga can help young women regulate their periods, help relieve PMS symptoms, help ease discomfort during pregnancy and labor, and also help adjust hormonal imbalance in older women during menopause.  Yoga is not just for the bodily changes that women undergo; it is also helpful for balancing emotions, dealing with diseases such as breast cancer and osteoporosis and developing self-awareness and self-love.

What People say

Having been a yoga student of Becky's for more than ten years, I believe that she is an outstanding teacher and mentor. She is dedicated to learning/growing in her own practice, and she eagerly shares her knowledge and information with her students. She has a gentle wisdom and manner, and is gifted at ensuring that each student's practice addresses his/her own individual needs and abilities. I often feel that she can "read" my mind/body!

Our journey to Peru was an amazing adventure! I can't say what I loved the best -- the Sacred Valley oasis of Willka Tika with those beautiful chakra flower gardens, Machu Picchu and the grand sense of the past, or our tour guide's passionate stories of the ancient and wise peoples. It was wonderful to have the daily yoga practice to give us all a deep truth connection to our surroundings. This was a well developed and intimate adventure for all of us.
